Looking for Michelle Fong (I think I spelt it correctly...)
Hi. I'm Grace Teo Pei Rong, and my buddy is Michelle Fong (did I spell it correctly?) (Michelle, please post comment and/or post when you read this ... thanks.)
Should I call you Michelle, or do you have a preferred nickname? You can just call me Grace. 'Pei Rong' is my dialect name: I'm Chinese, a Catholic, and Teo is just my surname (:P).
My parents wanted to name my siblings (I have 2 elder brothers) and I names from the Bible; that's how I got to be Grace. Grace actually derived from Latin, meaning 'graceful'.
Also, my baptism name is Marie. That is actually for Mary, Mother of God... so that I may adopt her as my role model in life.
The 'Pei' in my dialect name means princess, or something along those lines. 'Rong' is actually a kind of flower; I learnt the latter in an exhibition where an aristocrat's bed was embroidered with those flowers.
