i'm really sorry for not replying much earlier. my computor was down and had to wait for repairs to be done. anyway...i'm Samantha! a little history of myself: I am an elder sister of a 3 year old brother and the only playmate for him since the start of my holidays.

now that you have explained your name, time for me to explain mine... Samantha means listener. My family name is Lau, though pronounced as Liu in chinese. My parents are Teochews, making me a Teochew too. My dialect name(also my chinese name) is Li Xia. It's written like this(my full name in chinese) : 刘俐霞. Li means upright,sharp or strength, while Xia means rosy clouds. i'm not too sure about why we have chinese names, but i think it is to recognize one's individuality. i mean, my chinese name makes my full name(including english name) unique to me and myself only. take Tom Tan for an example. It is quite common but if there is a chinese name, his name would be more unique.

about myself... i love to read books, play ultimate frisbee, swim and simply laze around! not forgetting chatting online and sleeping in...^^
